Who is responsible

What this site does not do

This site has no forms, no user accounts, no cookies, no analytics and no advertising, and it loads nothing from third-party services. No consent banner is therefore needed.

Data we handle

• Emails you send us. If you write to us, we handle your name, your email address and the content of your message in order to reply and follow up on your request. Our email is hosted by Microsoft.
• The host’s technical logs. Like any website, this one is delivered by a hosting provider, Vercel Inc., which automatically records technical connection data (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type) to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. We do not use this data to identify you or to build a profile.

Purposes and basis

We handle this data to answer the requests you send us and to keep the site running and secure. This rests on your own decision to contact us and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure site and replying to our correspondents.

Recipients and transfers

Your data is not sold, rented or used for advertising. It is accessible to the people at Bazano Farming who handle your request and to our technical providers: Vercel Inc. (hosting) and Microsoft (email). These providers may process data outside the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in particular in the United States.

How long we keep it

Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your request and follow up on the relationship, then deleted, or archived where the law requires it. Technical logs are kept by the host for a limited time under its own policy.

Your rights

Under the applicable law — in particular Ordinance-Law No. 23/010 of 13 March 2023 establishing the Digital Code of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and, where it applies, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation — you may ask for access to your data, its correction, its deletion or its portability, and you may object to its processing.
